HOW DO I USE THE POSTPARTUM GRACE GUIDE?

The postpartum guide is intended to provide daily support for new moms. Lay it beside your bed, on the couch near you and the baby, and find 10-15 minutes to read (or listen, audio is available in the online resource link!) to the daily message and answer the journaling prompts. Though it is a "short" amount of time to dedicate, it will have an amazing impact! There are also beautiful floral bouquets that can be colored to help reduce stress/anxiety and make the guide your own.

I HAD A BABY A COUPLE MONTHS AGO, IS THIS GUIDE APPROPRIATE FOR ME?

The guide starts with information surrounding the immediate days of having a newborn (approximately days 1-3), but then the information applies to nearly every mother with content for healing, support, relationships/communication, nutrition, and more. You will still get a lot out of the guide even if the "timing" is not as intended.

I ALREADY HAVE A BABY, BUT I'M PREGNANT WITH ANOTHER. WILL THIS BENEFIT ME?

YES! While this is written for a first-time new mom who may not know the details of early postpartum, you'll benefit from the content in the guide even having gone through the experience once. In fact, you may thrive more with the tips and suggestions included.

I AM ADOPTING A CHILD SOON. IS THIS GUIDE APPROPRIATE?

The principles within the guide: nutrition, communication, healing, support, etc. will help with this transition if the child is under a year of age. It was not written specifically for this scenario, but you can still receive and benefit from the wisdom found on its pages. (Hopefully, a guide for this case will exist one day! It's in the plan!)

I DON'T PLAN ON NURSING. WILL I BE MOM-SHAMED IN THE GUIDE BECAUSE OF THIS CHOICE?

Kate specifically designed the guide to help ALL moms... breastfeeding, pumping, formula feeding, C-section, medicated birth, natural birth, etc. It is an all-inclusive guide.

That being said, each choice provides a unique set of challenges and there will be further resources in the Motherhood Village Community and blog posts available from Kate and others surrounding some of these topics.

I'VE NEVER JOURNALED BEFORE, WILL THIS HELP ME?

Absolutely. Postpartum is a fabulous time to introduce a journaling practice to your life as it will be very beneficial for your mental health. It will also help as your little one grows and develops and parenthood changes... as it surely will!

Even if you are a seasoned journaler, you will take a lot from this guide!

WHAT IS EXPRESSIVE WRITING?

Expressive writing or stream of consciousness writing is writing without a prompt. It is personal and emotional journaling without regard to form or other writing conventions, like spelling, punctuation, or verb agreement… “it simply expresses what is on your mind and in your heart.” All you need is paper and pen. There is space for expressive writing weekly in the guide.

WHERE IS THE PRODUCT MADE?

The product was created 100% in the United States. Kate, the author and creator, wrote and designed the book from Pittsburgh, PA. We use local printers, specifically Copies on Carson, to print in Pittsburgh, BUT we also have an amazing assistant, Mallory, who helps us get packages out in a timely manner. She gets products printed at Action Print & Copy in Tucson, AZ.

Currently, we do not have a referral program.

WHAT IF I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH MY POSTPARTUM GRACE GUIDE?

Your happiness is extremely important to us and we would hate to have you be dissatisfied with the guide! There are two ways to receive a refund:

  • You will have 14 days from the date of receiving your product to return and receive a refund of your money for an unused without wear or damage.

  • If you are unhappy with your guide after completing the guide and journal in its entirety (photo evidence will need to be provided), you may submit for a refund of your money.

WHAT IF MY GRACE GUIDE ARRIVES DAMAGED?

If your journal arrived damaged, please email us immediately with photos.
